My wife had surgery on her shoulder. She can no longer handle a bigger gun. I got her a Bersa 380. She really likes it. She regularly keeps it in her purse. I've fired it. It shoots to point of aim, and is fairly accurate. If I could no longer carry a 1911, I'd try [...]

As a fan of Bersa Firearms and the pround owner of 2 of them, I'd like to inform anyone who is willing to listen that Bersa delivers quality on par with her competition at half the price. A Walther PPK/S export model can cost $800 NIB, but a Bersa Thunder 380, same caliber and [...]

  • Since I started the group, I’ll post a little blurb. I own two Bersa made handguns. The Thunder 9 and Thunder 380. The 380 was the first handgun I ever purchased. Based on the Walther PPK, but costing only half of what her parent arm commands, the 380 is an inexpensive, reliable, and accurate arm. The Thunder 9 is a nice arm also. Chambered in the ever-so-popular 9×19 parabellum, she is a full frame handgun that does not disappoint. Being accurate with the 380 was a challenge. Not so with the Thunder 9. I’ve never found such an inexpensive arm that wasn’t a junker. It really impressed me.
