  Yeah, the XD is a reliable pistol! But, as Cory (gunsmithcat) would say, I love the XD so much that I could start writing a blog post about my morning coffee, and end up talking about the XD before I got to the end of the first paragraph

  Got an used XD45 Service at a pawn shop, and have been very pleased with it. Put about 500 rounds through it,and without cleaning in-between range sessions. No jams. FTF or FTE. Overall it is a great gun.
